JaRon McReynolds

JaRon McReynolds  is a Spring 2011 initiate of XI Rho Chapter, San Francisco State University and has since served in various chapter leadership positions. JaRon McReynolds is a graduating senior at San Francisco State University, majoring in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts (BECA) with a minor in Africana Studies.

JaRon McReynolds  is a Spring 2011 initiate of XI Rho Chapter, San Francisco State University and has since served in various chapter leadership positions. JaRon McReynolds is a graduating senior at San Francisco State University, majoring in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts (BECA) with a minor in Africana Studies. Brother McReynolds was initiated into Xi Rho Chapter fall 2012 where he has served as chapter historian, president, and now currently serves as the corresponding secretary.

Brother JaRon McReynolds is highly involved in his campus community serving as a coordinator for the Black Student Union.  He is also employed by San Francisco State University’s Associated Students Programs and Services as a Technical Assistant where he utilizes his skills in photography, videography, and graphic design in order to increase social awareness of campus activities. Brother McReynolds has a strong passion for creative expression through visual art, specifically video production, and aspires to establish a visual arts studio dedicated to increase the amount of positive portrayals of people of color within media.

He uplifts his community by implementing events that provides students with resources that enhances the college experience. In his ambitions to develop as a leader within his community, Brother McReynolds now currently serves as Western Region Assistant Vice President with the aim to enhance the college brother experience in a way that allows brothers to operate with a high level of efficiency. He looks forward to continuing the work of Alpha that encourages a generation focused on uplifting communities that has suffered from systematic oppression.
